A professional image is a requirement for successful participation in school. We are in a fashion and image consulting business. Your hair, make up and clothes send a message to the guests that you serve. You MUST look the part and maintain the following professional dress code:
- Core and Phase One students must wear all black.
- Phase Two students may wear black or white in any combination.
- Clothing must be professional, clean, and free of stains.
- Hair must be clean and styled PRIOR to arriving at school.
- Cosmetics must be applied PRIOR to arriving at school, using trend-appropriate makeup techniques This includes application of (at a minimum) foundation/base, mascara and cheeks.
- Ripped jeans are acceptable. Rips must be below finger tips when standing. Must have more jean/ material than skin showing. Skirts must also be below fingertips.
- Hats can be worn in any style/color. Must not have inappropriate logo/words. Hair must be styled under hat.
- Shoes can be any color. Must be clean and professional with no holes.
The following is a list of unacceptable dress:
- Foot thongs or beach sandals (If it floats - don’t wear them)
- Tank tops or sleeveless tops
- Printed/Graphic T-Shirts other than those with a Paul Mitchell logo
- Spandex or biking shorts
- Outerwear jackets/coats
- Midriffs/Crop Tops
- Leggings can be worn with appropriate length top/skirt/dress; must not be worn as pants.
- Shorts of any kind
DENIM CAN BE WORN ON MONDAYS AND FRIDAYS.
Students who fail to comply with the professional dress code may not be allowed to clock in and can be asked to leave and return with appropriate attire.
